The academy-trained sculptor Boštjan Putrich was awarded Certificate of Excellence in the field of sculpture at the 7th International Artitudes Competition in New York this year. The Certificate was awarded by a jury composed of representatives of several American museum institutions: Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago (Illinois), Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge (Massachusetts), and Guild Hall Museum East Hampton, New York. This is Putrich's third recognition from New York. He also received Certificate of Excellence in sculpture at the leading international art competition Art Horizons and Certificate for Outstanding Achievement in sculpture at the international art competition I.A.C., both in the last year.
